Kikyou is a master of the bow. The type of archery she does is called kyujitsu. Kyujitsu is an ancient Japanese way of archery, which later turned into kyudo in the seventeenth century. The difference between the two is kyujitsu was a way of fighting and kyudo is more a way of personal developement. Kyujitsu was the first of the samurai arts (the other two were sword fighting and horseback riding). Kikyou, as I said before, is definatley a master of this art. Whenever she shoots, she hits the target straight on, her yumi rotates correctly and she even does zanshin (translated: remaining spirit, or remaining body) at the end of her shots, where she remain in position after releasing the arrow. Kikyou can also use her arrows to purify. When she shoots one, the shine and purify the target.
Weapon: Mystical Powers
Attacks:
Even though Kagome also has mystical powers, Kikyou seems to be more in control of her powers. She can create barriers, kill people (Urasou), and also injure them (when she was first resurected, Inuyasha).
