72. Toutousai no Kimyouna Shiren
Toutousai's Strange Ordeal
In order to break Naraku's new barrier, Inuyasha takes Kirara and visits Toutousai in hope that Toutousai will know a way to break the barrier. When Inuyasha arrives he aks Toutousai to train him, but Toutousai doesn't really listen to him because he ih thinking about how he needs a bath. He mentions this and Inuyasha assumes it's training. There is also another person coming to Toutousai for training to break a barrier. That person is a small cat demon. Both Inuyasha and the cat think that Toutousai is training them, but in reality they are just prepareing a bath for him. As they do this, Inuyasha notices that the little cat demon is sick, so Inuyasha helps him get back to health and finds out the cat demon's story. The reason the cat needed to know how to break a barrier is in his hometown a deomn attacked and created a barrier over the town. As they are talking, a meesanger comes from the cat demon's village and tells the cat demon that the demon who attacked their village purposly opened the barrier to let the cat demon's father in. The father knew it was a trick but he went in anyway. Inuyasha and the cat deon go to the village and Inuyasha helps break the barrier. When Inuyasha arrives back at Toutousai's, Toutousai tells him the truth about the "training" and Inuyasha clobbers him before leaving. However, it turns out that Toutousai knew a way to break the barrier, so since Inuyasha left, Toutousai told it to Myouga. Myouga agrees to teach Inuyasha and goes after him to tell him about it.
78. Sango Mokushi Shite ONRII YUU
Aiming at Sango Only You
After a castle is attacked by a huge bear demon, the king of the castle tells his underlings to find Sango and her friends. The underlings search and manage to find Sango and friends. They ask her for help in exterminating a demon who has been attacking them, and they offer a very good price. The king then shows up and acts very familiar with Sango, and invites everyone to his castle. It turns out that when the king was a young boy, his castle hired the you kai taijiyas, among them Sango. He was very impressed by her and fell in love with her. He is still in love with her, and he aks her to beome his wife. She deosn't answer immiediately and they stay in the castle. Sango obviously wants Miroku to say something, and he acts very polite saying he she should do what makes her happy. Kagome tries to get Miroku to stop Sango. Consequently, Sango is in a very bad mood when the demon arrives and beats it up, but it turns out that she underestimated it and MIroku jumps in and saves her. The demon was actually the ghost of the demon Sango killed when she came to the castle the first time. The king seeing Miroku save Sango and seeing how Sango looks at Miroku realizes what's between them. As the Inuyasha group are leaving the castle Sango explains to the king about her quest to find Naraku and how she has to do that before anything else. The king says he understands and that he still loves her. As she is rejoining her friends the king says he hasn't given up yet though. The Inuyasha group are walking in the rain and Kagome notices that Miroku's umbrulla is broken, so she gives Sango one of her own. Sango then holds it over Miroku and they walk under it together. However, Miroku gropes Sango's butt and Sango slaps him, leaving him to sit on the muddy road while she walks under the umbrulla. But, Sango walks on at first looking mad, but then breaking into laughter.
79. Jaken no Tetsusaigabun Toriatsukai
Jaken's Plan to Steal Tetsusaiga
Sesshoumaru sends Jaken away with Rin help her look for some food. While they are walking, Rin asks how Jaken is useful to Sesshoumaru. Desperate to show her how he is useful to Sesshoumaru, he decides to steal Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga for Sesshoumaru. He devises many humorous plans, but is constantly foiled, until he creates a hotspring and while Inuyasha is in it, he manages to steal Tetsusaiga. Then Rin who has been wandering around with Ah Un, comes back to Jaken and he gives her Tetsusaiga and tells her to run away with it. However, Inuyasha finally catches up to Jaken and is about to get him when Rin comes back and pulls Jaken up onto Ah Un, saving him, but losing Tetsusaiga in the process. Jaken realizes that he would have died if it were not for Rin, so he isn't that upset. Rin and Jaken go to a vegetable patch to find some food but Kagura shows up and kidnaps Rin, flying away with her.
