The Curse of the Noh Mask Revived in Modern Times
Kagome leaves the Sengoku Jidai to go back home so she can study, even though Inuyasha get's pissed off because of it. When she gets back to school she finds out that her grandfather had been making up strange sicknesses as an excuse for why she was absent so much. She also meets Houjou, a boy from her school who gives her presents and seems to like her.
A woman comes to Kagome's family shrine to exorice a Noh mask that she had inherited. However, the mask possesses her and wanders around town participating in murders and building up a body out of its victims. It turns out that it has a Shikon shard in it and is looking for more to get a stronger body. It finds out that Kagome has some and one night it attacks Kagome and Souta. They run and Kagome tells Souta to go to the well and get Inuyasha. But the mask manages to corner her and just before it's about to get her, Inuyasha arrives and destroys it. By this time it is morning and Kagome remembers her math test, so she runs back home.
12. Tatarimokke to Chiisaina Akuryou
The Tatarimokke and the Little Evil Spirit
In Kagome's time Kagome and Souta visit one of Souta's friends who was in the hospital. Souta tells Kagome that freak accindents have been happening around the Satoru, his friend. He also tells her that Satoru was hurt in a fire that burned down his house, and that his older sister, Mayu died in that fire. Kagome meets the ghost of Mayu who his both angry and sad. She is mad at her mother, because her mother only rescued Satoru from the fire which she died in. But Kagome knew from Mayu's mother that Mayu's mother didn't know that Mayu was in the apartment.
Mayu is accompanied by a demon called a Tattarimokke. It is a demon that helps the souls of children pass into the next world, but when its eyes open, it takes the spirits to hell, where they become evil. The Tattarimokke's eyes do open and it tries to take Mayu to hell, but Kagome rescues her, and convinces her that her mother really does love her. So Mayu comes back with Kagoome, makes up with her mother, and passes happily on.
13. Shingetsu no Nazo Kurogami no Inuyasha
The New Moon's Enigma Black-haired Inuyasha
The naive Houjou asks Kagome out on a date, but it doesn't work out because she goes back to the Sengoku Jidai. There, they meet a girl named Nazuna who hates all demons, because a group of spider-head demons killed her parents, and the people from her village. She lives in an old temple with the head monk who took her in after her parents were killed. But Inuyasha and co. stay for the night at the temple.
During the night they were attacked by a group of spider demons, and they were forced to run. Kagome then noticed that Inuyasha's hair turned black and he didn't have any fangs or claws. It turns out that the reason for this is, Inuyasha is a half demon, so on every new moon, he loses his demon powers and becomes a full human. However, Kagome remembered that she left the Shikon shards in the temple so they go back and find out that that the old monk was really the head of the spider demons, and he stole the shards and ate them. Since Inuyasha was without his demon powers, the "monk" was able to poison him. Kagome, Shippou and Nazuna pull him into a room and use Tetsusaiga's barrier to protect them from the "monk".
The night passes, and then the demon manges to break through the roof, but Inuyasha got his demon powers back, and destroyed the demon. Inside the demon's stomach, the Shikon shard solified into one big shard. They leave Nazuna, who realized that maybe not all demons are bad.
14. Nusoumareta Kikyou no Reikotsu
Kikyou's Sacred Bones Stolen
Back at the village, the orgress, Urasue steals Kikyou's bones and some of the soil from her grave. Inuyasha who was thinking about Kikyou, caught the scent of Kaede's blood and returned to the village and found out what had happened. Kaede wasn't badly injured, so Inuyasha and friends set off to reclaim Kikyou's bones.
Kagome looks at Inuyasha and realizes that he might after all have loved Kikyou and starts thinking about that. Urasue meanwhile, prepares to resurrect Kikyou using the bones and grave soil, but when Kikyou's body wakes up, there was no soul. Urasue wanted to resurect Kikyou so she could use her powers.
Inuyasha and friends arrive at the bridge to Urasue's layer and are attacked by some mud soldiers. While they are fighting the soldiers, Urasue swoops down, cuts the bridge and flies away with Kagome.
15. Hiun no Miko no Kikyou Fukkatsu
The Priestess of Fate, Kikyou, Revived
Urasue, having caught Kagome puts her in a bath of sometype of herbs to extract her soul, because it was Kikyou's and she needed it to completely resurrect Kikyou. However Kagome's soul wouldn't come out until Inuyasha, Shippou and Kaede arrive and Inuyasha seeing Kikyou calls out her name. With that, Kagome's soul flew out of her body and went into Kikyou's. Then, surprising everyone, Kikyou attacks Urasue and then using Kaede's arrows shoots at Inuyasha, asking why he betryed her. Inuyasha doesn't know what she's talking about, and Kikyou keeps trying to kill him. Then Kagome tries to reclaim her soul, but KIkyou just manages to stumble away and Inuyasha chases after her. But she almost falls off a cliff and Inuyasha grabs her just in time. He doesn't understand why she's so angry.
Kikyou tells him that 50 years ago they agreed that Inuyasha would use the Shikon no Tama to become human and he and Kikyou would live together as humans. But on the day that Kikyou was bringing the jewel to Inuyasha, Inuyasha attacked her and stole the jewel. After that Kikyou sealed him up against Goshinboku and now that he's still alive, she wants him dead. Inuyasha swears it wasn't him who attacked her. But then she falls off the cliff and disappears.
