History: Sango lived in a small town of demon exterminators. It was in her town, that the Shikon no Tama originated. She was the best exterminator in her village and was very happy there untill Naraku destroyed it. As if that wasn't enough, Naraku made her younger brother, Kohaku, kill his own family. Naraku now manipulates Kohaku through a Shikon shard in his back, which is the only thing keeping him alive. Naraku also tricked her into thinking that it was Inuyasha who destroyed her village and she attacked him. But she soon realized the truth and befriended and joined the Inuyasha-gang.
Appearance: 1. In her Youkai Taijiya (demon exterminator) outfit. She has her long, dark hair pulled back into a high ponytail. She wears her taijiya outfit which is a tight fiting body suit. She carries her boomerang on her back and her sword on her hip. She also sometimes wears a gas mask. She has pink knee and elbow guards on her taijiya suit.
Appearance 2: In her ordinary clothes. She has her hair down in a low ponytail. She wears a pink/red and white kosode, a kimono with short sleeves, with a green apron over it called a mo-bakama. The mo-bakama, which most peasant women wore at that time, was for freedom of movement. She wears leather armguards for protection. It is unsure as to whether she wears the black taijiya suit under these clothes. I think she does and that the carries the other parts ofit in the blue cloth she uses as some sort of a backpack. On feet she wears sandals called waraji, I believe. Again she carries her boomerang on her back. Also, in both cases she wears red eye shadow.
Personality: Since Naraku destroyed her village and her family Sango is understanably sad. She doen't go around crying, but even though she hides most of her feelings, you can see that she is very sad. She is happy though with the Inuyasha-gang and often teases Inuyasha. She is very nice and is especially friends with Kagome. Often, her emotions are the ones controlling her actions.
Romance: While she never admits it straight off, she is in love with Miroku and gets quite jealous when other women are around him. Miroku also is in love with Sango. I think they make a great couple.
Special Quirks: Sango is a youkai taijiya or "demon exterminator" and she was the best in her village. Also, her village is where the Shikon no Tama originated.
My Opinion: I like Sango a lot, she is my favorite female character. I admire her ability to cope with the tragedy of losing her home and her family. I also admire her fighting skills. She has a great personality and is very strong.
