Race: Human
History: Miroku lived with his father and the chief priest at a Budddist temple. But his father got sucked up by his own Kazaana (see 'special quirks' below) and Miroku was then taken care of by the chief priest, who taught him all the bad things he knnows.
Appearance: Bishounen with black hair and a small ponytail at the back of his neck. He wears an osode (the black, long-sleeved kimono) which is wrapped by a wide purple cloth called a kesa. The kesa is a symbol of his status aa Buddhist monk. He carries a staff called a shakujou.
Personality: Miroku is a pervert. He goes around asking every girl he meets, "will you bear my child?". This usually results in him getting beat over the head and generally hurt. Still, besides that he is a good person and tries to avoid kiling innocent people (wouldn't you do that anyway?). In the Inuyasha-gang he is the smart one who provides good sense and caution.
Romance: Since Miroku goes around asking that question he probably has had a lot of relationships, however he is interested in Sango, who also is also interested in him. ^_^
Special Quirks: In his right hand Miroku has a "black hole". A void that sucks everything up into it. It is called the Kazaanna. It is a curse on his family placed by Naraku. Every year the hole in his hand gets bigger and if he doesn't kill Naraku the hole will eventually suck him in and kill him.
My Opinion: Despite Miroku's perverted habits, I actually like him. I think that generally he is a nice person and a good friend. Still, he deserves all the beatings and punches he gets!<< back
