Chapter 1 Crying
Kagome lept onto her bed her eyes were stinging at the attempt to keep her tears from falling down her cheeks. Normally she wouldn't be afraid to cry alone in her room but now she felt like if the tears started they would never stop. She couldn't believe what she had just heard Inuyasha say. He had said it he really did hate her. She began to sob into her pillow and she wished she hadn't gone into the other world today. She was in a bad mood when she woke up and she knew it couldn't be good. The harsh cold of the winter night was making her teeth chatter and as she began to shiver she thought about the day. When she had woke up she had screamed at her grandfather wich was very highly unusual and she had proceeded into the well anyway. "How stupid" she said out loud. Now she had really done it nobody wanted her in either world now. Even Shippou, the little fox demon was mad at her. She turned over to face the ceiling her back rubbed up against the cold sheets a chill rushed through her someone was watching her cry.

Chapter 2 Why are you watching me?
The feeling of being watched creeped up her spine the hairs on the back of her neck rose her breath came in jagged shallow gasps. She finally said "SIT" loudly and looked at the window. Sure enough it was Inuyasha lying face flat on the floor. "You stupid Hanyo she yelled you, you Oh!!!!!! Why are you watching me!!!???" Inuyasha stood up and growled "I was watching you cry. I didn't think my opion mattered to you that much if thats what your crying about." She stared at him trying to look mad. "Of course it is. You said you hated me." Inuyasha looked at her surprised "Well i can't help it you were ticking me off. You only told me to sit 15 times." She smiled remembering how satisfying it had been earlier in the day when he had fallen on his face. She looked at him now and he looked embarrased at his outburst.

Chapter 3 Sorry
"Well i am sorry ok. Can't I be mad once in a while?" he growled again and said "Yeah and I can't." She looked at him and realized that he was right she had been crying just because he had said something mean to her while she had been yelling at him all day. She started to cry again and Inuyasha crossed the room and rapped his arms around her waist. He looked down at her her tearstained face and said "I'm sorry" she looked up and saw that it was true.

Chapter 4 Back Through The Well
She reached up and rubbed the back of her hand on his cheek and said "I know" he took her hand off of his face and smiled "Can we go now then" she looked at him and said "Won't Shippou be mad though?" He pondered over it a minute and said "I guess your right." he dropped his hands to his side and said "All you should have to do though is tell him you're sorry though he doesn't usually hold grudges against people especially you." she knew he was right so she said " Ok lets go." He pulled her up onto his back and they jumped out of the window and were at the well in barely any time. The night air smelled crisp and wet as they climbed down the well. The night was so cold. Kagome could even feel Inuyasha shiver even if he was a hanyo he could get cold. When they got through the well Shippou was waiting for them. Kagome looked at him and said "I'm sorry that I called you a furry rodent." He looked at her tears forming in his eyes and said "I know." He jumped up onto Inuyasha's shoulder and gave her a hug. Kagome was glad they were friends again. She jumped off of Inuyashas back and spun around she was in a much better mood. Then she looked at the sky that was just turning dark in the other world there was no moon "Uh oh!!!"

Chapter 5 Changing
Inuyasha's hair was beginning to turn black and his claws were shrinking, his teeth were also getting smaller. Shippou turned and said "I don't like to watch this." Kagome walked slowly towards him and said "Maybe I should take you to my world and keep you in the shrine?" He turned on her and said "No" and seeing the surprise on her face said "I don't want you to go out of your way." Instantly she knew something was wrong, he wasnt usually like this. She looked at him intensely trying to see what was wrong. He turned and said "Don't act so surprised I can be nice." Her mouth got wider as she saw what was behind him, a shadowy lean figure was moving closer with very long steps. She screamed and Inuyasha turned looking strait into the face of a tall girl with long black hair and beautiful eyes.

Chapter 6 Noriko
The tall girl looked very surprised, "Did I just see what I thought I saw? Did you just change your hair?" She said looking at him intrested. "Cool" she laughed and said "Sometimes I wish I could tell other people that I am a Youkai." Inuyasha looked at the girl and said "You are a Youkai?" She looked embarassed and said, "Yeah but don't tell anyone, they think I am normal in town even my parents." His jaw dropped, "You are a Youkai?" "Yeah silly, didn't I just say that; you are aren't you?" she said even more embarassed. Kagome finally spoke "He is a hanyo and you are?" "Noriko" she answered "But you can call me Nori if you want!!!"

Chapter 7 Recruiting Nori
Nori waited a minute before she said "Well I guess you guys don't have names then?" Both Kagome's and Inuyasha's faces stayed blank but little Shippou piped up, "I'm Shippou." All three of the bigger characters jumped up at least two feet into the air. Shippou laughed "Gosh you guys are jumpy" Inuyasha spun around "YOU LITTLE BRAT SCREAM A LITTLE LOUDER AND MAYBE THE REST OF THE WORLD WILL HEAR YOU NEXT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kagome felt a her shoulder jerk as the little kistune jumped onto her arm. She gasped and said "Shippou you scared me to death!" as tears formed in the childs eyes and Kagome apologized, Nori looked around and folded her arms across her chest. She smiled and said "So at least one of you has a name! What should I call you guys?" Kagome laughed and walked forward she felt the little fox demon on her shoulder stick his claws deeper in her skin so he could hold on he was starting to hurt. She stuck out her hand and said "I'm Kagome." Nori's smile grew. "Good you have a name too. So that's two out of three, well what should I call you?" She said looking at Inuyasha. "Should I call you Hanyo?" He growled deeply and screamed in rage, "I do have a name and don't call me hanyo." She smiled again, "You have a name but I guess your not going to tell me huh?" That was it, Inuyasha sprang onto the aggravating youkai and shoved her into the ground she was still smiling her hair began to turn silver and her eyes were turning a dark blood red. Her finger nails were beginning to resemble knives. you could see her growing taller.She wrapped her fingers around his throat and smiled yet again showing her long fangs. She looked at him and said softly, "I don't want to hurt you now what is you name?" He grimaced and rubbed his neck and choked out "Inuyasha." She slowly pulled her fingers one by one revealing long red marks. "Oh really I knew your brother. You, if possible look better than him!" Inuyasha looked like he could kill her right then. "Don't look so happy" she said sarcasticly eyeing his expression. He grimaced "YOU knew him?" She laughed "Yeah we were pretty good friends. The way he let on you were the ugliest thing on earth!" Kagome had to laugh at the expession of disgust on his face. She looked up and say "Wanna join us?" Nori looked cautiously at Inuyasha and said "I want the rest of your group to approve first." Shippou almost jumped off of Kagome's shoulder in exitement "Ok with me!!!!!" Inuyasha looked up from the ground "Yeah I guess."

Chapter 8 On the Road
Kagome shivered once again as the air grew colder and she did too. She looked over at Nori who seemed pretty happy. Inuyasha didn't. However, on the other hand he never did. Once they got too a tall tree Kagome sat down "I want to rest. Actually I am going to spend the night right here." Shippou curled up at her side and Nori sat down beside her. Her youkai features were starting to disapeer and she lay down on the dry grass that smelled so much like a barn, Nori was comfortable. Inuyasha was the only one who remained standing. He looked down and said "Ok but I'm hungry" No sooner had he said it than Nori pulled out a box of rice. She smiled "Wanna share?" Kagome cocked her head and smiled "I'm glad we joined up with you, I didn't remember to bring any food." Shippou also decided to dig in Inuyasha stared at them for a while and grabbed a set of chopsticks off of the blanket kagome had spread out he crossed his legs and said " I'm only eating your food because you asked next time won't"

Chapter 9 Sweet Dreams
Later in the night Inuyasha stared down at the two girls and the child. They were content and very happy. The bigger youkai slept peacefully with her hands at her face it looked almost as if she were praying. Kagome looked peaceful also, she must be having a pretty good dream because she was smiling in her sleep. The youkai stirred and sat up looking into the branches of the trees. Inuyasha was staring back down at her and he jerked his head back up right but she took a mighty leap and landed right beside him in the tree. the look of peacefullness was gone and a look of surprise was its replacement, "you are just like your brother whether you know it or not. Every time I would look up at him he would be sitting there staring back at me. You guys are so weird." The girl shrugged her shoulders at him and a sudden frown creased her face. She looked at him and said in an accusing voice "How did you get in this tree anyway? youre in human form!" Inuyasha's face lit up in surprise he looked at her thinking, "gosh nothing slips by you does it, why do you care anyway. Now I have to answer her or she's going to think I'm a freak." "Why should that matter?" He was confusing himself. He looked at the girl in a sort of weird way and said "I just climbed. This tree isnt too tall you know." She laughed "yeah I know I just want to make conversation, cutie. I wish you weren't who you are or I would talk to you more but I am your brother's friend so I won't do that. Gosh you're so cute!" For an instant there she thought she was going crazy what had she been thinking?

Chapter 10 Thouhgts
For the rest of the night Nori tossed and turned she couldnt help but think about how cute Inuyasha looked. She couldnt stop thinking about him period. She liked the way he made her feel safe. Even safer than his brother made her feel. She had had a lot of boyfriends in the past. None of them had gone very well, the longest one had lasted a month. Nori was also thinking about herself. How the rest of the group would respond when she told them about how she turned into her demon form. "Oh well," she thought , "I might as well tell them as soon as the sun comes up and get it off of my chest."

Chapter 11 Inuyasha's Thoughts
Inuyasha was also up in the late hours of the night thinking. He was beginning to worry about his feelings for Nori. He felt drawn to her in some way he felt like he had known her for a long time he wanted to go hug her. He liked the way she smelled like Kagome but with an extra sent an older scent a more mature scent. He looked down at her again. She was still awake. He could tell by the way she turned as if she were thinking too. After a while he realized he was staring at her and rolled over to face the top branches of the tree trying to see the stars. He usually didn't look at the stars so much but tonight was different he felt drawn to them.

Chapter 12 Morning
The next morning everyone but Shippou was in a bad mood. Inuyasha and Nori because they had stayed up so late and Kagome because she had rolled over in an ant hill.She had red spots all over her and she was itching like hell. She scratched so hard at one point that the older youkai asked her if she was going to sit around on her ass all day and rub her arms or if she was planning to move. She apoligized later though. Shippou thought it was so funny that Nori and Inuyashas irratated mood. Of course he also thought it was funny that Kagome looked like a giant polka dot. She however didn't so he had to ride on Noris shoulder. By late afternoon everyone was in a better mood and Kagomes body was starting to go back to its regular size. Nori plopped down under a tree and said, "I need to talk to you guys." Kagome sat down beside her and Inuyasha leaned back against a tree. After everyone was comfortable, she stood up "I turn into a demon whenever I want to. But I do have to turn into one sometimes when I don't want to, so I'm going to tell you when to expect me to. When a person with human blood gets near I turn into a human if I want, but when I am mad I turn into one, when I am in pain I turn into one, when nobody with human blood is around I turn into one and on some occasions that I don't know about. I collect shards too." Kagome smiled "So do we. You can help." Nori smiled "No. I don't want to help you, I want my own wish. I don't want just to help you." Kagome's face fell "So how many do you have?" Nori laughed "At least a quater of them and I am going to have to get your guys' sometime you know." Inuyasha grimaced he felt like something huge had fell on him she was much stronger.

Chapter 13 Stories
After Kagome had gone to bed Nori climbed up in the tree beside Inuyasha and leaned her head against a huge tree branch she smiled showing fangs Inuyasha drew back in surprise she laughed and said "It gets you worn out to stay a human for so long i have to let go sometimes" he nodded and looked at the sky "Well what are you here for?" she looked up too "To ask you to tell me about yourself" he looked down and she pulled her head down too. he looked into her face and said "Dont you already know all there is to know?Didnt my brother tell you?" she laughed "Yeah but i want to know about you not what your brother knows about you." he smirked "So you expect me to tell you all my hopes and dreams huh well sorry i dont go around spreading it" she smiled "Well i guess i can tell you about me then?" he waved his hand out "Take the floor" she smiled again "Well i will start from the beginning. My parents are not demons. Well the ones i lived with anyway. I was adopted. They didnt know that i was a demon. They thought i was a normal girl. I lived in a huge house and went to the biggest parties you could think of but i wasnt happy. There were plenty of boys there and i had plenty of boyfriends but i didnt like any of the boys. Most of them were more friends than boyfriends.I had two good friends Tenchi and Yoko. they were so cool. Yoko was a girl in my class that had been my friend forever and Tenchi he was my body guard. I left with your brother two years ago.i think anyway. So when i came back they thought it was a miracle well now im gone again and they are out here looking for me I can sense it so unless you want to meet my friends i suggest you guys let me be a demon when they get closer." Inuyasha looked at her and said "How close are they?" "About ten feet away" he jumped down and grabbed Kagome and jumped back up the little fox demon jumped up too.

Chapter 14 Meeting Some Friends
After a couple of minutes a boy came out of the woods. His hair was a dark shining black and he carried 3 swords at his side. Nori smiled "Tenchi. He always wears 3 swords if he is afraid." a minute later a young girl with blonde hair and brown eyes appeared. She was carrying a bow and at least ten arrows. now nori gasped "They sent Sachi? they really are worried gosh. She is a very good warrior and also one of my other best friends." then a shorter girl came out with long brown hair and brown eyes. "Thats Yoko." she pointed at the bow and arrows "she has a worse set than Sachi so she must be really worried if Tenchi brung 3 swords and Sachi came and Yoko brung her arrows.Gosh they must think i'm with somebody as powerful as Sessahamaru." then Inuyasha stared at her and she said "Not that your not but...." Tenchi looked up at the tree and said "Come down demons!Who is the girl you have kidnapped? Inuyasha and Nori jumped down with Shippou and Kagome in tow. Noris eyes started to turn brown and her hair turned black she felt her claws shorten and her fangs and body too. Tenchi touched her face "Oh lord!!!!WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER DEMON?" he put his arms around her neck and said "Are you ok you are a demon!" she smiled "Oops didnt i tell you that?" Sachi walked forward "How long have you been a demon?" "Since i was born" Yoko laughed "That is impossible" Nori smiled "Go home and tell them you didn't find me please? I am happy with these guys!" Tenchi brung his arms from around her neck "Are you serious?" kagome woke up then. "Hey who are you" that woke up Shippou "Yeah who are you?" Tenchi looked at her "Are you a demon too?" she looked at him quizzicly "Do i look like one?" Sachi smiled "We were looking for our friend and it looks like this demon here has made her a demon?" Kagome looked at Nori and said "Hasnt she always been a demon?" Tenchi grabbed Nori by the arms and swung her over his neck and the girls with him ran he ran too. Now Inuyasha made his first move he lunged at tenchi sending him sprawling he grabbed Nori in his arms and said "Are you ok?" she smiled "thanks yeah" tenchi pulled out his sword "Unhand her" Inuyasha dropped her onto his leg and she slid off turning into a demon Sachi pulled out her arrows as did Yoko. "Stop" nori said "I dont want any of you to get hurt ok!" she looked at Inuyasha and said "Either we have to take them with us or I have to leave they are pretty strong" Kagome smiled "Let them" Inuyasha shook his head in agreement he had no idea why but he didnt want Nori to leave.

Chapter 15 Love?
That night Nori explained to her friends what was going on and they joined the group.THe humans slept under the tree with Shippou and the demons slept in the tree.Nori slept in a branch above Inuyasha in the tree. Inuyasha lay there staring at the beautiful Youkais arm. She had cut her arm with her long fingernails and the blood dripped softly onto the leaves beside him turning them a soft beautiful red. The girl rolled over her face looking into his.Her eyes opened she resembeled an angel. Blood dripped delicately from her long sharp fangs. She growled and smiled "Im cold".She looked cold too. Her skin was a snow white and she was shivering. He looked down at the humans all bundled together with blankets upon blankets upon them they looked warm he thought. What would it hurt? "You can come down with me if you want" he silently hoped she would exept. She smiled "You really will let me how sweet!" he couldnt help but smile. "You look happy" thats because i am "You are so sweet" she cuddled closer and layed her head on the tree beside him he moved it onto his arm and she layed it on his chest.He suddenly felt warm it was a good feeling. They both realized at the same time this was love.

Chapter 16 Morning Again
The next morning everyone was happy. Sachi was happy that she had completed her mission and found her friend. Tenchi that his friend wasnt dead. Yoko because she didnt have to spend her time with the worry worts anymore. Kagome because she wasnt a giant red polka dot, Shippou because he had been very warm through the night. and the other to because they had finally slept well and realized what that feeling was. The group began to walk cheerfully down the road Yoko rode on Tenchis back and Kagome on Inuyashas shippou on Noris and the rest of the group walked. everyone seemed to be cheery. the groups were mixing this was good. Shippou jumped off of Noris back suddenly and said "I sense something" Nori laughed "Yeah it is spring you sense a lot of green stuff so what?" Shippou narrowed his eyes "No it is you and him he said facing Inuyasha you guys are too happy you usually are brooding" everyone turned to them "Ok so i am happy. Was a new law passed that says i cant be?" inuyasha said ticked at the little Kistune "And me i am always happy" nori said laughing the rest of the group left at that but the little kistune was right they were happier than usual.

Chapter 17 Wow
that night was the same sleeping arangements as the night before exept that Sachi and Yoko took Shippou hunting so it was only Kagome and Tenchi under the tree they lay at least five feet from each other both of them were shivering finally Kagome moved closer and said "You want to come over here some im freezing!" he moved closer "So am i" Tenchi looked up into the new tree Inuyasha and Nori were on the same branch again He wrapped his arm around Kagomes shoulder and whispered "Look at them on the same branch. they were on the same one last night too." Kagome opened her eyes "Really?" "Yeah! i think she should sleep down here with us." Kagome turned around "Why?" he looked into her brown eyes and said "I dont know it was stupid" She lay her head on his arm "Oh well i dont mind" he smiled "Neither do i" they too were facing love.

Chapter 18 In The Woods
Yoko was so cold she rubbed her arms and her teeth chattered "So we are taking this kistune hunting because?" Sachi smiled "Cant you see that love is in the air at the camp site? If you went back right now i bet that Tenchi and Kagome would be on the ground snuggling and the other two would be in the tree doing the same." Yoko smiled "You really think that? Tenchi is supposed to marry Nori next year according to the papers both of their parents signed when those two were babies" Sachi smiled at her friends stupidity "Dont you see we are not there anymore and when Nori was gone those ties were severed anyway." The little kistune looked up "I heard all of that" Sachi laughed and kicked him playfully "SO?" and they all ran deeper into the woods.

Chapter 19 Telling the Truth
the next morning Nori shook Inuyasha awake he opened his eyes sleepily "What is it" we have to tell the rest of the group he touched her hand "I guess your right we have too" they started down the tree. In the mean time under the tree they were having the same conversation once Nori and Inuyasha got out of the tree both couples started at the same time "We have to split into groups we are in love" at the same time the other part of the group came out. they heard the whole thing.

Chapter 20 Splitting into Groups
Yokos mouth dropped open and Sachi ran out of the woods "Me and Yoko will go back to the village. You dont need us do you?" shippou jumped out with tears in his eyes "So you are going to forget about me?" he said facing Nori and Kagome. Kagome knelt down and touched his cheek "Of course not. I will take you with me its just....well." Nori smiled "I dont want you guys to go by yourselves either so why dont we just keep traveling together and once we finish getting the shards we can worry about that kind of stuff ok?" Kagome smiled "Yeah" Sachi laughed "Me and Yoko and the little kistune can go to the village you dont need us do you?" Shippou looked at the girl and said "I will go with you guys if you promise i will see them again" he said pointing to the other girls Sachi laughed "of course you will. I promise!" so it was set they would be two groups.

Chapter 21 On the Road
By the next week all of the four in the first group were so happy they could bust Kagome didnt even seem to mind that Inuyasha was in love with someone else she was happy to have Tenchi. Tenchi wasnt jealous of Nori either suprisingly because he was supposed to marry her (according to their parents).

Chapter 22 Hapiness Forever
Finally one night Tenchi bowed down to Kagome "Please be my wife?" she smiled broadly and threw her arms around his neck she was the happiest person on earth her heart was singing she whispered in his ear "Sure" now there happiness was complete. That night sitting in the top of a tree her head on Inuyashas shoulder Nori sighed and put her hand in his "Do you think we should head back? Now that they are getting married we should at least send them back right?" he looked into her eyes he could tell she was worried. He touched her arm it was so warm she began to fall backwards he screamed as she fell he jumped down and grabbed her. He cradled her gently and landed on the ground softly he shook Kagome awake he felt tears beginnig to burn his eyes she took one look at the girl in his arms and her eyes grew with fear.

Chapter 23 Fighting for Life
For the next few days Nori was in a coma they were having to force feed her Kagome had determined that it was a death threating fever she felt like she could slap herself for this.Not seeing the syptoms of this earlier. After a few more days she finally came to. She looked up at Inuyasha hovering over her he had been crying she could tell she felt tears come to her eyes too. She reached up and grabbed his hand he looked down at her. her eyes were open he dropped down to his knees "Thank the gods!. Kagome shes awake!" he wrapped his arms around her neck and smiled she smiled too "What happened" she asked "you got so hot and then you fell out of the tree i caught you before you hit." she reached up and wiped his eyes with her finger a lone drop stayed on it. She looked at it and brought it to her eye.He looked at her interested she dropped it carefully into her eye and whispered "Now when you cry i share your reason and i cry too. He held her hand and whispered "Do i share your tears?" she smiled "Havent you always?" he put his arms around her neck again he knew she would be alright.

Chapter 24 Two Weddings
Two years later two weddings took place on the same day they brides shared their brides maids Sachi Yoko and Sango they all shared a cake and a place. Everything was happy.
