It's like a twin to Erin's - she has "POP is dead" and I have "Shindemo Boogie-Woogie", kinda like a few weeks ago when we both had Johnny going. ^_^ I like this one much more than the Lareine/Kamijo one. My one concern is that it's too bright. Any comments?

Finals are finally over. *does the appropriate dance* This weekend should be nice.

I went to see the chiropractor today, and now my upper back hurts. Before, it didn't. -_-;;; And I have scoliosis. When I took at a look at the x-ray, my first thought was, "Wow, that looks... almost twisted." And then he said I had scoliosis. The joys of youth.

In other news, Rob's finally gotten off his lazy rear end and bid on eBay for Malice Mizer's Bara no seidou. I'm hoping he wins because I'm sure I can steal a peek at the special packaging - right, Rob? :D

I completely agree with Re-Miel of the Shioul ML. He said that X, the manga, drags, and it sure as hell does. In seven volumes... well, I'm not sure what's happened. o_O; Lots of sideways movement as in "meet characters!" but little in terms of plot... Kamui came back, the blank was blank and someone blanked, crying for a bit, someone did something, more crying... lah-dee-dah. All that in seven books. And as for those fans who've been fans for a really long time... well, they have to be. CLAMP started X in 1992 - ten years later, they've got 18 volumes out. Sure, they have other projects, but Yuki Kaori got Angel Sanctuary done in good time and it was a faster-paced story! I'm wondering if it's all an excuse to draw pretty, meaningless pictures.

About four weeks ago I stumbled across the webpage of bella torte, a North American doujinshi circle that put out a Lareine doujinshi, La Reine de la danse opéra. After a little pondering, I ordered a copy, and it arrived today! For $5, which included shipping, it's a real steal. The artwork varies from saicoink's simple drawings to Nagano Momoko's fantastic!beautiful portraits of the four members of Lareine, but the stories make up for lack of artistic quality. Funny, but you have to be a fan of Lareine and at least know about New Sodmy to appreciate the humor. All in all, though... I think it's an incredible bargain. *happily listening to Lareine right now*

The weather has screwed up the midterms schedule - not that I mind. I'm really worried about math, though. The review pages do make me feel better, though. Oh! and the My Turn essay that the English teacher said was due today? I come to her this morning, worried because I'm not satisfied with my work, and just before I explain myself, she says, "Oh, I changed it after you guys (meaning my class) left. It's due next Monday." I'm grateful that I didn't have a pistol with me, because I might have just killed myself. I was up 'til 11:45 PM working on it, and it's not entirely to my liking!

On second thought, if I'd had that gun, maybe I should've killed her. Because this isn't the first time she's changed due dates, or even the assignment itself, after our class, which is first in the morning. It would alleviate my pain, and I'd still get to live. -_-;;;;; Though, really, she's a nice person. As a teacher, it's another story.

Continuing the cramming of biology and Spanish conjugations... on a random note, it's occurred to me that I could use a haircut. If my face was wrinkled and my brains were addled, I could do a passible Ozzy Osbourne impression. This weekend I need to go shopping for new pants (I've grown and they're now too short), finish writing the copy for [M] and get that up, and I think I'l begin work on a new layout. I don't think I like this one anymore.

I'm working on getting my blog layout archive up. I did have a layout done, but I didn't like it, even after few hours of work split over two days. Last night in an hour I whipped up something simple that I liked a lot better. -_-;;;; My layout success rate is really about 50% - half make it online, and the other half are doomed to languish on my hard drive for all eternity unless I choose to revisit them. Currently, the archive is titled [M]. I'm thinking about working the letter M into the archive almost as a motif. Sort of.

There's nothing like applying for financial aid to spontaneously spawn arguments, cause tears, and raise blood pressures. But thank goodness everything is still on track. It's a relief.
