Need new blog layout...

Happiness is anime. :D~ Regardless, I'm now thinking of using the Schwarz picture I colored in with the GIMP to make a layout. Because I'm a big fan of Schuldich and Farfarello looking nice. I like my telepaths bitter with beautiful orange hair and my psychotic murderers with knives and yellow eyes. XD~

But if I can find any good pictures of Malice Mizer's Beast of Blood look, I may do that instead. Hrm. Dem lack of scans. Argh.

I think that I have a righteous rant to make about student responsibility (thank you Probability and Statistics class + one stupid-ass woman) but I don't want to think about it anymore. It makes me angry.

Beast of Blood

For the last couple of days I've listened to nothing but Malice Mizer, with only a little Madeth gray'll, Lareine, and Earl Grey to mitigate the effects. So I'm just a little messed up right now. I've been happily singing along to "Beast of Blood" and "Gardenia", both awesome Klaha songs. Dammit, I need to find "Garnet". "Color Me Blood Red" is good, too. Közi should have sang more. ;_; And Yu~ki should have written more music. "Syunikiss" is so very beautiful.

I finally looked at the lyrics for the single "Beast of Blood", and I have to say that it's the ultimate vampire song. XD~ I like! The translation is from Kurai's Translations with a little editing by me.

    Beast of Blood

The future dyed in fresh blood... my tortured senses

    Place of silence, moving shadows
Crimson eyes are strangely gleaming in the darkness
    Madness starting to awake
    Playful desire starving of blood
    Get down limitless night

    Beast of Blood
    Beast of Blood
    Beast of Blood

Along with the scream from the death throes
    Sharp claws are shining brighter
    Dually obscene breaths continues
And rips apart the silence of the night
    Crossing the uplifty night
    Get down limitless night

    Beast of Blood
    Beast of Blood
    Beast of Blood
    Beast of Blood

the scent of blood intertwined around my breath,
floats about the air on this night of esctasy
the future dyed in fresh blood... my tortured senses
the scent of blood intertwined around my breath,
floats about the air on this night of ecstasy

    Beast of Blood

    Beast of Blood

    No fear, no sadness
Lofty life is tasting loneliness and eternity
And near by the target with no more life
Red drops on my greedy lips
Falls down on the freezing ground
    Get down limitless night

    Beast of Blood
    Beast of Blood
    Beast of Blood

"Spills blood on me 'til it fills my body"

the scent of blood intertwined around my breath,
floats about the air on this night of ecstasy
the future dyed in fresh blood... my tortured senses
the desire gushing out of the cold body is wet with red blood
screams of desire resound on this night... my senses throb sharply

the scent of blood intertwined around my breath,
floats about the air on this night of ecstasy
the future dyed in fresh blood... my tortured senses

    Beast of Blood

And Erin's home! ^____^ Wai wai!

I'm stealing a few questions from the quizzy on Erin no blog.

    3. [Describe yourself in 4 words]: Ambitious, intelligent, arrogant, caring.
    4. [Who is your worst enemy?]: Always myself.
    5. [If you could have any animal, what would it be?]: Probably a cat. Cats are nice.

    30. [In my head]: Music, usually.
    31. [Wishing]: I could play the cello better... play what I want the music to be.

    40. [If you could murder anyone and get away with it]: There's no one I hate enough, but I would consider killing a person if I thought people would benefit.
    43. [What do you want done with your body when you die]: Cremated. I don't want any trace of it left. The people I've touched and the things I've done - I want that to be my testament. Not some lump of rock stuck in the ground.
    47. [Do you believe in Heaven]: Yes.
    48. [Do you believe in forgiveness]: Yes.
    49. [Do you believe in God]: I choose to believe in God. So yes.

Now that I think of it, you are sort of like Rociel... maybe it's better if you don't know how he is 'cause you might be like, "I am like two insane people... Muraki and Rociel," etc. Rociel's sort of like Muraki - they have their reasons.

As for splashing the world with blood and suffering... I think you're too ready to see yourself as a monstrous thing. I believe you're neither the demon you fear you are or the angel you want to be. You're human. Only human, nothing more than human. Accept that for all the joy and pain it brings, and lift up your head and smile.

And you won't be able to save everyone and everything. Look at God. I don't think even He expects every soul to be saved. If he doesn't expect perfection of His creation, why on earth should you expect it of your surroundings, things you didn't even create? Don't be so hard on yourself. As a mortal being on this Earth, you have limitations. Accept them.

Done with the deep stuff. ^_^

Classroom rant

Probability and Stats class tonight... we had a test. But that wasn't what irritated me. It was the whining that occurred before.

A blond girl, who looked like she was in her early twenties, was complaining about the difficulty of the tests. She said something inane, like "I wish he [the teacher] gave everyone at least a C. Then I wouldn't really care about the tests." I was like "Dumbass! That's the point, you stupid woman!" I didn't say it out loud, though. Geez! She proceeded to say that the teacher, while intelligent because he didn't need notes to teach, kept talking into the blackboard so she couldn't hear anything. First off, memorization is not an indication of intelligence. That seems to be something people in general mix up. Second, if you can't hear, move! Don't sit there and blame him for your bad scores! Geez!

It really irritates me when students blame teachers for their failings. In this matter, I am very, very traditional. While it is the teacher's duty to do the best he or she can, it is also the students' responsibility to pay attention to the lectures, read the textbook, and ask for help if they need it. This student responsibility... I seem to see less and less of it. And that irritates me.

Done ranting. ^_^ It's thundering outside.
