So, in the month of April:
- grandfather passed away (4/4/06). My parents are overseas now to attend his funeral.
- had a birthday (4/7/06). GOD I AM SO OLD.
- got sick the Thursday before the MCAT (4/20/06). I thought I was having an allergy attack because all the trees decided to open up and BLOOM, but when I didn't get better after the pollen counts went down, I decided I was sick. I'm getting better now.
- took my MCATs (4/22/06). It was ho-hum, which is both okay and terrifying. Okay 'cause I probably did alright, terrifying because I would much rather do really really well.
- took my P-chem final (4/27/06). Studied and freaked out about it, took the test and felt angry-horrible-betrayed-used for spending WAY TOO MUCH TIME on the material for such an easy test.
- was told fairly nicely to find another lab to work in (4/29/06). I've spent like 5 hours sniffling and sobbing about this. (Crying in front of my supervisor included. God bless him - I'm sure he didn't know what to think.) I'll elaborate more on this when I get it all sorted out.
- went to the Botanical Gardens Sakura Matsuri (4/30/06) with my roommate, Elaine, which was fun and pretty. The flowers, that is. Asian fever and cheap nasty fabric kimono ahoy!
- got my ear repierced (4/30/06).
The sad thing is, I didn't have to look any of those dates up 'cause they're all in my head and I know them all. >_>;
I'm, uh... kinda worried about various people at home. *ahem!stare!* What are you people doing!?! Ben's like an accident-contortionist, injuring various body parts at completely random intervals! Erin's... ruining her credit rating, which'll make getting a job and loans much harder! Dan's... well, my "DANGER, DANGER!" sirens are flashing on and off each time I read a new LJ entry. What is this world coming to?
