Probability and Stats class tonight... we had a test. But that wasn't what irritated me. It was the whining that occurred before.
kerio 2.15 keygenA blond girl, who looked like she was in her early twenties, was complaining about the difficulty of the tests. She said something inane, like "I wish he [the teacher] gave everyone at least a C. Then I wouldn't really care about the tests." I was like "Dumbass! That's the point, you stupid woman!" I didn't say it out loud, though. Geez! She proceeded to say that the teacher, while intelligent because he didn't need notes to teach, kept talking into the blackboard so she couldn't hear anything. First off, memorization is not an indication of intelligence. That seems to be something people in general mix up. Second, if you can't hear, move! Don't sit there and blame him for your bad scores! Geez!
It really irritates me when students blame teachers for their failings. In this matter, I am very, very traditional. While it is the teacher's duty to do the best he or she can, it is also the students' responsibility to pay attention to the lectures, read the textbook, and ask for help if they need it. This student responsibility... I seem to see less and less of it. And that irritates me.
Done ranting. ^_^ It's thundering outside.
