both Dunes were pretty terrible.... at least I thought so. At least the TV one was closer to the books.. but the pacing was blah. Then again, there's not much better than sand worms. I hope the code of silence goes well! *hugs*

I thought the original movie one, while a little less accurate, catches the whole mood of the book far better than this one. I rather enjoyed the old dune, although that may be because of Patrick Stewart and Sting.
I will say that the Baron Harkonnen is far more believable in the older version, he's far more...evil. Versus just kinda manipulative and gay. The older one had warts, and boils, and liked bathing in blood (or oil or something), and raping and killing people. This one is...far too talkative. (Granted, I'm watching the death scene of Leto Atredies)
Did you like books after God Emperor of Dune? I'm taking a poll. Or, When did you become disinterested in the series? Which book?

Not sure if this is where I should post or not.....I'm looking for anyone to talk to about EPP I just found out today that my son (15 mos) has this and his father is in the hospital now after suffering for the past year, and after many specialists we finally found out last week that he has EPP and is in liver failure !! If this isn't where I need to post could someone please e-mail me and let me know of somewhere to talk about this to someone who has answers,,,,,,,,the docs don't seem to know too much! Thank you all BYE!
