Thanks for all the comments.

I saw Return of the King yesterday along with Dan, Bishie, and Jordan. Bishie and Jordan while we were watching previews kept asking each other Tolkien trivia....Like... "Name all the wizards in Gandalf's order....colors too" And they were successful. x_x; *completely over my head*

It was really good though. ^ ^ Just cinemagraphically they did a great job. Though all the blood and crushing and picking up people and tossing them places...ug. I don't like bloodshed. Unless it's one on one. Then it's ok. I don't know why that is. One on one fighting is ok. All out war is not ok. *scratches head* I should figure that out.

And OMG the slashyness!!! O_O Am I the only one that sees this? Rosie or not there's something else there demnit. There's even a long forehead kiss. > >;

Ok. I'm going out shopping with my sister Courtney. so yeah~ fun! *loves my sisters to death*

yeah... after Dave, Sekhar and I saw it, we ran into Rob while we were leaving the theatre.. we had a conversation about the torrid love affair between Frodo and Sam.. I kid, they're just really good friends

By "we", he means Rob and himself. Ben seemed to enjoy the prospect of a Frodo/Sam romance. Rob seemed to want to talk more about Denethor's silly immolation. Frodo and Sam show the strong relationship built during war between men. It's just a profound kind of friendship.

And, since Ben's touchy: That bit about him enjoying the thought was hearty jab, nothing more. He said what he thinks.

erin you might not like it but warfare is a part of the human condition. people will never truly get along completely, as long as we have free will. if you don't know what the violence is like you are more apt to start a violent confrontation. movies with violent scenes are good for us in moderation. they remind us of how bad it really could be, and how horrible war is. if it disappears then we will just doom ourselves to repeat conflict. remember that the lord of the rings is a movie about good vs. evil. it involves an all out war between the two forces, and one of the messages behind it is that with hope and courage, good will always triumph over evil. just remember that while you might not like it, you do need to see it.
